A long-time resident of Northern Virginia, Paul J. Ibrahim is the founder of PJI Law. Mr. Ibrahim launched his legal career with the Office of the Public Defender in two Virginia locations, and then accumulated experience in bankruptcy law, local government law, and consumer protection at Fairfax County’s Office of the County Attorney. He then moved on to the private sector and worked with law firms in a variety of areas, focusing primarily on business law, personal injury, and bankruptcy.
Additionally, Mr. Ibrahim has been an active participant in a number of legal pro bono programs, including Wills on Wheels, the Consumer Law Project, the Housing Law Project, the Family Legal Assistance Project, and the Neighborhood Outreach Program. Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Ibrahim worked on executive and congressional matters with the federal government, conducted policy research at the prestigious American Enterprise Institute, and spent time with the editorial page of USA Today.
Mr. Ibrahim earned two academic majors at Cornell University, where among other endeavors, he presided over three organizations and was a member of the Academic Integrity Hearing Board as well as the Cornell Debate Association. He came back to Northern Virginia to obtain a Juris Doctor degree at the George Mason University School of Law, where he was a member of the Honor Committee and one of only five members of his graduating class to successfully complete the Corporate Law track.
Mr. Ibrahim has appeared on a number of radio and television shows, and his written work as a nationally syndicated columnist has been published in newspapers from coast to coast. Mr. Ibrahim has been quoted in forums ranging from the nation’s leading talk radio shows, to the pages of work appearing on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
