Whitney L. Hughes
Whitney Lawrimore Hughes is an Associate Attorney at PJI Law. She is a native of Northern Virginia and graduate of George Mason University and Liberty University School of Law. After graduating from law school, Ms. Hughes was admitted to practice in all Virginia state courts as well as the United States Court in the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia and the Eastern District of Virginia Bankruptcy Court, and spent a number of years practicing law at another esteemed law firm before joining PJI Law.
As a zealous advocate for her clients, Ms. Hughes handles cases both in and out of the courtroom in a variety of legal matters including family law, business, personal injury, and civil litigation. Some of Ms. Hughes’ notable litigation cases include a civil rights award of $662,500 in the Eastern District of Virginia; a custody award of children to their grandparents whom she represented in a contentious custody case; and a $350,000 award in a negligence case in Loudoun County Circuit Court.
