Emily was born and raised in Northern Virginia and attended Annandale High School. This diverse environment fostered her deep appreciation for cultural diversity and community advocacy.
In 2019, Emily graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Criminology and Law and a minor in Legal Studies. Throughout her studies, she balanced the demanding roles of a full-time mother and athlete. Her academic journey ignited a keen interest in criminal and civil law, especially in the intricacies of legal argument and litigation. Driven by this passion, she pursued and obtained a Paralegal certification from George Mason University in 2022, gaining valuable experience in family law litigation.
Emily’s professional ambitions extend beyond her current role; she aspires to become a lawyer to represent and advocate for the Latino/Hispanic community, ensuring their rights are protected. Her dedication to community service is evident in her personal life, where she actively participates in sports such as soccer, volleyball, flag football, and pickleball. Off the field, she cherishes time with her family and involvement in her church, reflecting her deep-rooted values of connection and service.
