Shelly
Senior Paralegal
An early stepping stone in Shelly’s career was working in the field of family law. Having experienced separation and divorce as a teenager and being raised by a single mother, she was able to comfort clients with the difficult dynamics and life-altering changes that affected their lives. It was with compassion and empathy for each client that she focused on the delicate issues of their case through her constant communication with them and her diligent preparation with the attorneys to ensure the best possible result.
In recent years, Shelly has transitioned to the field of estate law. Through her personal family loss and being a caregiver, she understands the importance of having an estate plan in place, in addition to instructions for the estate administration. She is able to use her experience to support the attorneys and assist clients to navigate through decisions that will fulfill their wishes and change their future for the better.
Shelly is a native of Northern Virginia and lives in Fairfax with her husband, Donovan, and their dog. She enjoys long walks, spending time at the beach, reading, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
