Intake Specialist
Micayla’s journey began in a small town, nurtured by a family of strong women – her mother, older sister, and grandmother. Their guidance instilled in her the values of kindness, generosity, and integrity, teaching her the importance of standing up for her beliefs and extending a helping hand.
Her passion for addressing social injustices, particularly mental health stigmas, is deeply personal. Seeing her sister navigate the challenges of chronic anxiety has given Micayla a firsthand understanding of the societal difficulties faced by those with mental health issues.
Away from work, Micayla finds joy in reading, with James Patterson’s Alex Cross series being a particular favorite. She also relishes the time spent cooking and gardening, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
