Sachin is a proud native of Northern Virginia. He enjoyed working at Toys R Us (RIP) during high school and college. He then worked for the Fairfax County School Age Child Care (SACC) Program for two summers, and the Fairfax County government before law school. He attended law school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (Go Vols!) while working for the Legal Aid society in Knoxville, volunteering at the Knoxville Museum of Art, and holding various student leadership roles. Due to his large local family and his friends, he returned to Northern Virginia after law school and has been serving the community as a lawyer since.

For Sachin, these prior life experiences are important because they shape who he is today. He appreciates that any person, no matter who they are or what their profession is, can teach him something. He enjoys meeting new people and learning about their experiences, as this expands his general knowledge and ability to relate to people. This is especially useful in the practice of law, as he believes that it is important to know who his clients are. He believes that clients will trust someone who truly listens, understands, and cares for them.

Sachin joins us after having been a Managing Partner/Owner of a successful local law firm for nearly ten years. At his firm, he handled a variety of family law cases (including divorces, custody battles, and more), criminal defense, and various types of civil matters. He knows the emotions involved in guiding clients through difficult periods of their lives. He also has first hand experience advising other business owners given his own business ownership. Ultimately, running a successful business and being a good lawyer requires being professional, having integrity, and caring for one’s clients.

In practice, Sachin is focused on the big picture in his cases. Throughout the pendency of their case, he ensures that his clients are well informed about their options and possible outcomes, so that they may make informed decisions. His focus is both on what his clients need while going through their case, as well as ensuring his clients are prepared for what their life will look like once their case is over. He has seen too many cases stall fighting over something inconsequential, resulting in time delays and more costs to the client. He fully believes that every client should conclude their legal matter in a better place than where they began.

Sachin lives with his wife, their baby who made them proud parents in late 2023, and six pet birds/monsters. In his free time, he enjoys a variety of activities like collecting Lego sets, finding good wood-fired pizza, attending shows at Wolf Trap along with other performing arts, and visiting wineries and breweries. He and his wife also enjoy traveling. He has a variety of other hobbies and interests that will make this page too long to list, but encourages anyone to ask!
